The Indian Air Force (IAF) has begun accepting online applications for the Agniveer Vayu selection test as part of the Agnipath scheme. This recruiting drive aims at finding qualified applicants for about 3500 open positions. Currently, only unmarried Indian men and women are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Until February 6, interested candidates may apply for the written exam by visiting the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The chosen candidates will be expected to serve a four-year tenure in the IAF.
IAF AGNIVEER VAYU RECRUITMENT 2024: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age requirement
To be eligible to apply for the Agnipath scheme, candidates must be between the ages of 17.5 and 21. According to the stipulated dates, applicants must have been born between January 2, 2004 and July 2, 2007.
Educational Background
Students in the Science stream must have passed class 12 with at least 50 per cent in Mathematics, Physics, and English, or have completed a three-year diploma in engineering.
Students from other streams need to have earned at least 50 per cent of their class 12 marks in subjects from the Arts or Commerce streams.

Step 2: The Air Force Agniveer Application Form link can be found on the homepage.
Step 3: Once you’ve clicked on it, enter your email address and password to log in.
Step 4: Complete the application by filling out all required fields.
Step 5: As directed in your application guidelines, upload all necessary documents at this point.
Step 6: Before submitting, double-check all of the information.
Step 7: After verifying the information, click “Submit” and download your application form.
Step 8: Take a printout of the Air Force Agniveer application form for future records.
IAF AGNIVEER VAYU RECRUITMENT 2024: SELECTION PROCESS
After a written examination, physical efficiency test, document verification, and medical examination, agniveers will be recruited into the Air Force based on merit. Men must complete the 1.6 km course in 7 minutes, while women must complete the same distance in 8 minutes, as part of the physical efficiency test. In addition, males must perform 10 pushups, 10 situps, and 20 sit-ups in one minute, while females must perform 10 sit-ups and 15 sit-ups in one minute.

To apply for the Agniveervayu test, interested candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs 550 online.
