HPPSC HPAS Mains 2024: Registration Ends Today, Check Important Dates Here

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will conclude the registration process for the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Competitive, HPAS Mains Examination 2024 on Monday.

Eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website hppsc.hp.gov.in till 11.59 PM on August 19, 2024. Candidates must note that the commission will not increase the deadline for the registration process.

“It may be noted that any delay in submission of the Online Recruitment Application or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and will lead to cancellation of the candidature for the H.P. Administrative Service Competitive (Main) Examination -2024,” stated the HPPSC in official notification.

HPPSC HPAS Mains 2024: Steps To Apply

Eligible candidates can fill out the application form for the HPPSC HPAS Mains Examination

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at hppsc.hp.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the HPAS Main 2024 registration link

Step 3: Log in with your registration number and password

Step 4: Apply for the HPAS Main 2024 exam and pay the application fee

Step 5: Submit the application form and save it for future reference.

The HPAS 2024 Preliminary exam was conducted on June 30 and the results were announced on July 23, 2024. Candidates were given a window of 20 days from July 30 to August 19 to apply for the HPAS (Main) Examination-2024.

The HPPSC HPAS exam is scheduled to be conducted from October 3 to October 10, 2024.

HPPSC HPAS Mains 2024: Exam Pattern

The main examination will include compulsory subjects and one optional subject. Candidates can choose from 31 optional subjects as listed by the commission. Candidates will have to sit for a total of eight exams comprising 3 papers of General Studies, two papers of optional subjects opted by the candidate, English, Hindi and an Essay exam.

No candidate will be considered to have qualified for the written examination unless he/she obtains at least 40% marks in each compulsory paper of Hindi and English and 45% marks in the aggregate (excluding compulsory papers  Hindi & English).
