The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will announce the class 10 result today, May 7 at 10:30 am. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result on the official website of HPBOSE at hpbose.org. This year the Himachal Pradesh Class 10th board exams were conducted from March 2 to March 21. As per the statistics, around 90,000 students appeared for this year’s exams.

Ahead of the HP Class 10th results, let’s take a look at the overall passing percentage of Class 10 Himachal Pradesh board exams for the last five years.
Himachal Pradesh 10th Result 2024: Pass Percentage Over The Years
In 2023, the overall passing percentage of the Class 10th examination of the Himachal Pradesh Board stood at 89.7 per cent. A total of 91,440 students appeared for the examination in 2023.
In 2022 the HP board Class 10th examination result was slightly lower than that of 2023 with an overall passing percentage of 87.5 per cent.
In 2021, owing to the COVID pandemic situation in the state the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education canceled the exams and the performances were evaluated based on the marks secured by them in the first and the second term Pre-Board exams and the internal assessment marks. Resulting in an overall 99.7 per cent passing percentage that year.
The overall pass percentage marked in 2020 was quite low. Out of 104,323 students who enrolled for the examination only 68.11 per cent managed to pass the exam. Girls outperformed boys with an overall pass percentage of 71.5 percent, while Boys overall passing percentage stood at 64.9 per cent.
Similarly, in 2019 the final results of the Himachal Pradesh Board Class 10th exams were marked low as only 62.01 per cent of students passed the exam that year.
Keeping aside the 2021 results, 2023 recorded the highest passing percentage in the Class 10th HP Board exams, while 2019 marked the lowest in the last 5 years.
