The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the 2024 SSC results today, May 15. Students who appeared for this year’s Class 10 examination can check their results from the official website at gbshse.in or results.gbshsegoa.net. This year the Goa Board Class 10 exams were conducted from April 1 to April 24 and around 19,557 students appeared for the exam.

Goa Board SSC Result 2024: Pass Percentage Over The Past Years

This year, the Goa Board has recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.38 per cent for its SSC students reflecting a 4.22 per cent decrease from last year. The pass percentage for girls stands at 92.93 per cent while for boys it is 91.80 per cent. Both the overall pass percentage as well as the gender- wise pass percentage has seen a slight decline this year. Out of the 18,940 students who appeared, 17,473 cleared the examination.

In 2023, the overall passing percentage of the Goa Board Class 10 exam stood at 96.6 per cent. Among the students, girls outperformed boys by a small margin. Girls achieved a passing percentage of 96.92 per cent, while boys scored 96.37 per cent.

In 2022, the overall passing percentage for the Goa Board SSC exam was recorded at 92.7 per cent. Girls outshone boys with a passing percentage of 93.9 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 91.6 per cent.

Talking about 2021, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country, the board canceled the Class 10 SSC exams and students were passed based on their internal assessment marks. Based on the internal marks, the overall passing percentage that year stood at 99.72 per cent.

In 2020, the overall passing percentage for the Goa matric exam was recorded at 92.6 per cent. Girls performed better than boys with a pass percentage of 93.3 per cent, as compared to boys with 92 per cent.

2019 recorded the passing percentage of 92.47 per cent. Among them, 92.64 percent of girls cleared the exam, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 92.31 per cent.
