CBRI Recruitment 2024: Registration For 24 Technical Assistant Posts To Begin On This Date

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–Central Building Research Institute (CSIR-CBRI), Roorkee will commence the online application process for the recruitment to the posts of Technical Assistant from tomorrow, January 10. It has released a total vacancy of 24 posts for the same. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of CBRI – cbri.res.in. The maximum age required for the post is 28 years. The selected candidate will receive a salary in the range of Rs 35,400 to 1,12,400 as per their qualification. The last date to apply for the post is February 7. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test.

Step 2: Register yourself by submitting your basic information such as your contact number and other details.

Step 3: Access the application with your registered ID and password.

Step 4: Complete the application form by filling in your required information.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 6: Pay the required application fee.

Step 7: Submit and download the application form.

The registration fee for the candidates belonging to the General category is Rs 100. The SC, ST, CSIR employees, ex-servicemen and women candidates are not required to pay the application fee for the registration. The candidate must have a diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology. The duration of the course should be 3 years. The applicant must have passed the course with a minimum of 60 percent marks. The candidate should also have 2 years of experience in the field for which they will be applying. The applicant can also apply for different departments for the post during the registration. To know more about age relaxation and other important instructions, the candidates are requested to read the information brochure. It is available on the official website of CBRI.

Candidates will be recommended by the Screening Committee and will have to undergo a trade test. It will be followed by a written examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the written examination. The exam will consist of three papers. The mode of examination will be an OMR-based objective type Multiple Choice Examination. The duration of the test will be three hours. The total number of questions will be 200. Papers II and III will be evaluated for those candidates who secure the cut-off marks in paper I.
