At Rs 1.23 Crore, Bhagalpur Girl Gets Highest-ever Package In NIT Jamshedpur
This year, NIT Jamshedpur reached an impressive placement rate of 93.76%, successfully placing 631 out of 673 B.Tech students.

It is said that the home where a daughter is born is considered fortunate. A girl from Bihar’s Bhagalpur has won recognition for her state and nation. Shrishti Chiraniya, the girl from Bhagalpur has been awarded an annual package worth Rs 1.23 crore by a US company. Shrishti attends NIT Jamshedpur as a student. Her campus selection was handled by the firm. To date, she has received the largest package from NIT Jamshedpur.

Shrishti lives in Bhagalpur’s Navgachiya and is studying at NIT Jamshedpur to study computer science and engineering. According to Shrishti, she wanted to pursue engineering since she was a young child. She focused on her studies and was accepted into NIT. She now has a strong placement from it as well. The US company Rubrik has given the offer to Shrishti. This company specialises in cloud data management and data security.

Mamta Chiraniya, Srishti’s mother, stated that a daughter’s significant achievement is the key to a mother’s whole success. As per her, nothing can be greater than this if she was able to provide her kids with a quality education throughout their lives.

This year, NIT Jamshedpur reached an impressive placement rate of 93.76%, successfully placing 631 out of 673 B.Tech students. The Metallurgy department achieved a perfect 100% placement rate. Furthermore, 125 M.Tech and 80 MCA students secured placements. The highest salary package offered was Rs 40.33 lakh per annum, while the lowest was Rs 8.73 lakh per annum.

Starting August 12, NIT Jamshedpur will introduce evening classes for its postgraduate programs. These will include M.Tech courses in Data Science and Smart Manufacturing, as well as nine additional programs across seven departments. Additionally, a new Master in Design course will be launched as part of a nationwide initiative involving 22 NITs and IITs.
