Batting superstar Virat Kohli and world No. 1 Test all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja were seen mimicking star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action in front of him on Friday (September 27) during Day 1’s play of the ongoing second Test between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur.
In a video going viral on the internet, Kohli can be seen copying Bumrah first, followed by Jadeja with Yashasvi Jaiswal and assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate watching the hilarious moment from a distance.

Bumrah, who is arguably the all-format bowler of present times, has a unique bowling action, and it has played a big role in his success over the years as well.
Bumrah, who is leading India’s attack in the second Test at Green Park Stadium, picked up a total of five wickets for the Rohit Sharma-led side in the series opener against Bangladesh, which was played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. He dismissed four batters in the first inning and got rid of one Bangladeshi batter in the second.
With 47 wickets to his name in 15 matches played so far, Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in 2024, and he would like to cross the 50-mark in the ongoing Test.
Jadeja needs 1 wicket to…
35-year-old Jadeja, who picked up five (2+3) wickets for India in the first Test apart from scoring 86 runs, needs one wicket in the second Test against Bangladesh to become the first left-arm spinner and seventh bowler overall to take 300 wickets for India in Test cricket. The Jamnagar-based cricketer has 299 wickets to his name in 74 matches played so far.
He will also become the third Indian cricketer after Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin to score 3000 runs and take 300 wickets in Test cricket for India.
Kohli can break multiple records
Kohli, who scored 6 and 17 runs for India in Chennai, needs 35 runs to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record and become the fastest batter in the world to score 27,000 runs in international cricket. If he manages to score 129 runs in Kanpur, he will become the fourth Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sunil Gavaskar to score 9000 runs in Tests for the Indian team.
