Azmatullah Omarzai added himself to the unwanted list of bowlers to have conceded 36 runs in an over in T20Is after West Indian Nicholas Pooran tore into the Afghanistan allrounder in the 4th over of the WI vs AFG group game at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia. However, unlike Stuart Broad and Akila Dhananjaya, who had the ignominy of being hit for six sixes in an over, Omarzai’s expensive over consisted 10 extras ((5 wides, a no-ball and four leg-byes), while Pooran smashed the pacer for three sixes and two fours.

- 3.5 Over – 6: Azmatullah Omarzai to Nicholas Pooran: SIX! There’s no margin of error against this man! Lands a juicy half-volley right into the hitting zone on the middle and leg, Nicholas Pooran swings across and gets it off the middle of the willow for a maximum over deep mid-wicket.
- 3.6 Over – 6: Azmatullah Omarzai to Nicholas Pooran: SIX! 36 RUNS OFF THE OVER! Full and around off, Nicholas Pooran clears his front leg and spanks it downtown for a maximum over long off. Nicholas Pooran has taken the Afghan bowlers to the cleaners here. West Indies are off to a flier.
