‘Scores Settled’: Ravindra Jadeja’s Wife Rivaba Jadeja After India’s Victory Over Australia

Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja shared a fiery post on social media after India’s final T20 World Cup Super Eight clash. The Men in Blue sealed a 24-run victory over a Mitchell Marsh-led Australia on June 24.

Following India’s victory, Rivaba shared a post on X claiming that the ‘score’ between the two cricket giants was finally settled.

The India all-rounder’s wife was referring to the 2023 ODI World Cup final between India and Australia. According to Rivaba, the Rohit Sharma-led side had finally avenged their humiliating six-wicket loss in Ahmedabad.

She wrote, “Scores Settled. In the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup, India has recorded a stunning victory against Australia. Congratulations to the team for this remarkable achievement!”

Apart from congratulating the team, Rivaba Jadeja had some special appreciation for India’s skipper Rohit Sharma. Recognising his brilliant 41-ball 92-run knock during India’s batting, she further wrote, “Rohit Sharma’s explosive innings will be remembered for ages.” She also shared a few pictures of the game’s star performers including Rohit, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. Rivaba’s post has now drawn a ton of attention on social media. Fans have now reacted to her words in the comments section.

One of them was already focused on India’s upcoming semi-final clash against England. “Now we need to settle scores from England also,” he wrote.

Another agreed and wrote, “Still a long way to go. Another score to settle against England for the 2022 semis. Go India Go.”

“No, not yet it has just begun and it will continue with winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and later the WTC final,” wrote one more.

One highlighted how he was waiting for Ravindra Jadeja to show up for India in the upcoming matches. “Jaddu’s Big performance is awaited in Big Games! Just 2 Games away from Glory!” he wrote.

While India are in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024, Ravindra Jadeja is yet to show up for the 2007 winners. He added a mere nine runs to India’s 205 total in the first innings. During India’s defence, Jadeja proved to be the most expensive bowler for the Men in Blue as he conceded 17 runs in just one over. More misery followed as the all-rounder even dropped a catch. However, the trio of Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah ensured that Australia didn’t get past 181 runs.

India are next set to take on a Jos Buttler-led England in the T20 World Cup semi-finals. The match will take place tomorrow, June 27, at the Providence Stadium.
