The battle between RCB and CSK is certainly heating up and Virat Kohli as always finds himself at the centre of the spotlight he delivered with the bat and is now on the field. The momentum was with the home side as they managed to get the big wicket of the CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad with Glenn Maxwell striking in the first ball of the innings.

The aggression was further fueled by Kohli taking that catch to dismiss Mitchell to silence the Chennai fans who were present for the Southern derby.

RCB if they are to qualify for the playoffs, have to win this game by a margin of 18 runs or more. For Chennai on the other hand, they have more options by their side. A loss by 17 runs or lesser, a tie or a win would secure their spot and help them continue their title defence.
