MCG hosted Bollywood actors Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan at the iconic ground.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia recently hosted Indian actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu and their daughter. They uploaded a picture of the heartwarming family on their official X account in which the trio can be seen posing together while standing towards the end of the ground. The official account for the MCG did not forget to mention Soha’s roots, revealing that she in the daughter of India’s former captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. They further added that MCG is one of the many places where Soha’s father competed in international cricket. Their post on X read, “A pleasure welcoming Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu to the ‘G. An actress and author in her own right, Soha is also the daughter of former Indian captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and came to check out the hallowed turf where her father once played.”

Several fans have now reacted to the duo visiting the iconic ground. One of the fans joked, “Instead of Sam Harper get Kunal Kemmu in Melbourne star. I bet he will cross the highest score of Sam Harper this season.”

While one fan was trying to crack the code for the recent growing trend amongst ‘Bollywood wives’. He wrote, “Every Bollywood wife is either an Interior Designer or Author or Both”.

Another fan commended the stadium authorities for the wonderful gesture. He wrote, “Nice gesture”.

In one reply, a user could not help but notice Kunal Kemmu’s trendy outfit. He jokingly mentioned, “Why is Mr Kemmu dressed for two?”

The Melbourne Cricket Ground has hosted a plethora of iconic cricket battles in history. The most recent clash at this stadium saw a host Australian side take on Pakistan in a Test match. It was the second Test of their three-match series that started on December 26 last year. Australia were leading the series 1-0 as the two sides headed into the epic clash. Pakistan won the toss in that game and elected to field first. A 63-run effort from Marnus Labuschagne helped Australia bag a 318-run innings. In the next half, Pat Cummins scalped five wickets to curb the visitors to 264.

During Australia’s second batting innings, Mitchell Marsh smashed 96 runs to help the hosts mount 262 runs. Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza both scalped four wickets each to dismiss the Australian squad, keeping them humble. However, Australia were able to return the favour in the final innings as skipper Pat Cummins picked up another five-wicket haul to seal a win by 79 runs.
