IPL 2024: DC Batter Jake Fraser-McGurk Punishes RR Pacer Avesh Khan for 28 Runs Off One Over to Reach His Fifty - WATCH
Avesh was welcomed into the attack with a hattrick of fours, before Fraser-McGurk took the aerial route to wallop a couple of sixes as well, and end the over as he reached his fifty, the fourth of his IPL season so far, in a trailblazing 19 balls.

Jake Fraser-McGurk continues to send shockwaves through the landscape of T20 Cricket with his swashbuckling style of cricket. And the DC batter continued his fine form tonight as well, as he smashed a 19-ball fifty against RR in Delhi tonight.

RR won the toss at the Arun Jaitley Stadium and elected to bowl first.

After a controlled first over from Trent Boult, DC took to the attack as Abhishek Porel took to Sandeep Sharma next to smack the pacer for two fours.

But, it was in the fourth over, when Avesh Khan was introduced when all hell broke loose.

Fraser-McGurk switched into another gear, and pummelled the RR pacer for 28 runs in his over.

Avesh was welcomed into the attack with a hattrick of fours, before Fraser-McGurk took the aerial route to wallop a couple of sixes as well, and end the over as he reached his fifty, the fourth of his IPL season so far, in a trailblazing 19 balls.

In a desperate call for help, RR turned to veteran Ravichandran Ashwin next, who bowled a tempting full toss to the Aussie, as he smacked it straight into the hands of Ferreira at covers for an easy catch.

The Rajasthan Royals will be looking to regain supremacy as they take on the Delhi Capitals next in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. RR have been phenomenal this season, winning eight of the 10 matches they have played so far.

Having spent the majority of time at the top of the points table, they recently dropped to second place after suffering a defeat to former champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.

On the other hand, DC managed to recover their season by winning three of their last five matches following a poor start to their campaign. Their two-match winning streak, however, came to an end having conceded a defeat to a Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders.
