Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to clash for the second time in IPL 2024. The earlier meeting between the two franchises resulted in a 25-run win for the SRH.
Ahead of what is expected to be a thrilling clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, two superstars representing the franchises were involved in a fun banter as they trained for the contest.
In a short clip shared by RCB on social media, Pat Cummins, who is leading SRH in the ongoing season, can be seen approaching Kohli and telling him how good he has bean batting in the nets.
“The coach was saying I was making that wicket look flat. That’s all I heard,” Cummins said.
Kohli responded with a smile before replying, “You’re too good Pat!”
"You're too good, Pat" ????No ???? needed! A bit of banter ahead of our game tomorrow. ????

SRH have been dominant with the bat having recorded 200-plus totals as many as four times so far. Thrice they have posted a total in excess of 260 and twice they have broken the record for the highest team total in IPL history.
It was against RCB that they racked up a record-breaking 287/3 in 20 overs with Travis Head hitting a blistering century. Three of the top-five highest team totals in IPL history now belong to SRH.
The franchise appointed Australia’s world cup winning captain Pat Cummins as the captain ahead of the season after splurging a jaw-dropping Rs 20.50 crore to secure his signature at the IPL auction last year. The team has emerged as a strong title contender after enduring three poor seasons in a row.
