Seeing Samson perform with such Charisma, his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals uploaded their reaction to X in a post. In that update, the Royals reshared the same post via their official account while asking, “Fancy an extra striker in Sanju Samson, @KerlalaBlasters?”.

Samson is a physical specimen and has often been spotted performing various sports that involve intense activities. Hence, seeing him perform in a local football game shouldn’t come across as a surprise to several fans.

Samson’s footage of the football match attracted the attention of many fans. One of them wrote, “You guys didn’t put a clause in his contract of playing other sports?!”

Another believed that Samson could potentially prove himself as a good backup option in the sport. He wrote, “Good backup option”.

Samson recently visited South Africa to be a part of India’s ODI series. He didn’t get an opportunity to bat in India’s opening ODI against the Proteas at the Wanderers Stadium as the visitors won by eight wickets. In their second game, Samson failed to find impact again as he was dismissed at 12 runs in 23 balls by Beuran Hendricks. That match took place at the St George’s Oval on December 19.

However, he made a statement in the third and deciding ODI at Boland Park. South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match. Samson stepped up big for his side, smashing a scintillating century while smashing six boundaries and three maximums. His powerful knock helped India put up a total of 296 runs. In the second half, Arshdeep Singh stepped up for the Men in Blue to scalp four wickets while giving away just 30 runs. India ended up winning the game by 78 runs.
