Vishal visited Tirupati Temple (Andhra Pradesh) yesterday, before the release of his much-awaited movie and prayed for its success. Now, I have surrendered to God for the success of the movie.” The interview is currently garnering everyone’s attention. Mark Antony is a science-fiction comedy-thriller film, written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Reports suggest actors Vishal and SJ Suryah will be performing double roles in the movie. It also stars Sunil, Karthi, K Selvaraghavan, Abhinaya, and Ritu Varma in supporting roles.

Mark Antony is said to revolve around a time-travelling gangster. The medium of time travel used in the movie is a telephone, as shown in the trailer of the movie. The makers of Mark Antony had earlier released the teaser in July. It garnered more than 4.5 million views in just 24 hours of its release. The actor-music director GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the movie. The film is backed by S Vinod Kumar, under the banner of Mini Studios.

Earlier, the movie was at the centre of controversy after the renowned production house Lyca Productions sued Vishal over the money he borrowed from the firm. The production requested that the Madras High Court halt the movie Mark Antony’s release. The court issued the stay order on the release date of the film. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Vishal notified his fans that the court had removed the stay on their scheduled release date. The film will be released as planned. According to media reports, Vishal allegedly failed to pay Rs 15 crore out of Rs 21.29 crore, which he owes to entertainment firm Lyca Productions.
