New Delhi: The Government is planning to revise the order banning export of sugar from India till March 2007.
The Government plans to lift the ban on sugar exports from October. It is also considering allowing companies, which had imported raw sugar to export earlier than October.
CCP had imposed a ban on sugar exports till March 2007 and revision of the order is positive news, ahead of the new crushing season.
Analysts had expected the re-export obligation ban to be lifted. Sakthi Sugars and Shree Renuka Sugars are seen benefiting, if allowed to re-export sooner.
