New Delhi: Airtel, India's leading mobile services provider, on Wednesday unveiled its first-of-kind Easy Lifetime Pre-paid service that will be available for customers at Rs 99 per month in 12 easy installments.
''The Easy Lifetime Pre-paid plan, especially comes as a boon for the B & C class SECs and further endorses our resolve to make mobile telephony a way of life in India,'' Bharti Airtel Limited Mobility Joint President Sanjay Kapoor said on the initiative.
At Rs 99 per month in 12 easy installments, an Airtel mobile user can continue to receive calls for a lifetime without having to recharge or worry about the validity period of the coupon.
The Easy Lifetime prepaid also offers the user full talks-time on all recharges and select easy charge denominations. All existing and potential mobile users can avail the Easy Lifetime Pre-paid.
The call charges under this scheme are the same as the Lifetime Pre-paid plan. Bharti Airtel Limited has an aggregate of over 22.03 million customers and over 20.68 million mobile customers as on April 2006.
The company is the only operator to provide mobile services in all the 23 circles in India, and provides telephone services and Internet access over DSL in 15 circles.
