Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have not worked together on the big screen since Agent Vinod (2012). However, it seems that things are going to change soon. The couple appeared on the final episode of Now Bingeing by Tata Play Binge and spoke about collaborating on a film. For the unversed, Saif and Kareena have worked together in a few movies. These include Tashan, Roadside Romeo (they lent their voices), Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. They were also seen in Omkara together but were not cast opposite each other. It has been 12 years since they collaborated on the big screen.
Saif and Kareena have now revealed that they are considering working on a film together. Speaking on the show, Kareena said, “Earlier he would be like, ‘No no it’s not going to work, it’s not interesting and we shouldn’t work together and whatever’ maybe because Tashan or Agent Vinod didn’t do well. But I was like, that’s not the case, I’m sure if it’s a good film, people would want to see us together. Now, I mean, we’ve liked something together, so..”
Saif Ali Khan added, “We’re actually working on something and trying to come up with something that takes into account that we are married and, it’s a play against that, a little bit. So, it is a work in progress.” The whole episode will be out on January 24.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan recently underwent tricep surgery for an old injury that got triggered while performing an action sequence for his latest movie. He is now well on his way to making a speedy recovery. Speaking about the same, the actor shared, “This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well wishers for their love and concern.”
