Lollapalooza India 2024: Nick 'Jiju' Jonas Embraces His Sasural; Sting, One Republic Have Everyone Grooving
Lollapalooza India 2024 came to an end over the weekend. The festival took place in Mumbai with Jonas Brothers, Sting, Halsey and Lauv headlining the event.

With the moon shining bright over the Mahalaxmi Ground in Mumbai, Lollapalooza India 2024 wrapped with a bang. The two-day festival was everything we had imagined. Into its second year, Lollapalooza India 2024 was headlined by Jonas Brothers, Sting, Halsey, Lauv and One Republic. Although all the headline performances stole our hearts, Nick ‘Jiju’ Jonas was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of the music fest. The singer, who is married to Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, performed for the first time in India with his brothers, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas.

And it was a night to remember. From the singer being introduced as everyone’s ‘Jiju’ by Joe to him performing songs such as Jealous and So Close along with Sucker, fans were thrilled to see him set the stage on fire with his brothers. To top it off, Joe treated fans to his hit songs Cake By The Ocean and Toothbrush. The cherry on the icing was the Jonas Brothers hyping the crowd by playing Gallan Goodiyaan from Priyanka Chopra’s Dil Dhadakne Do.

Besides Nick and his Jonas Brothers, Sting filled the air with nostalgia. The 72-year-old singer performed a few big hits, including Desert Rose, Fields of Gold, Shape of My Heart and A Thousand Years.

On the other hand, other headliners — Halsey and Lauv — delivered emotionally packed performances. Halsey marked the 10th anniversary of the release of her first-ever song, Ghost at the festival and on the occasion, performed the song along with her other hits, Closer, Gasoline, Eastside, and Bad At Love. She also announced her next album at the concert. While her powerful performance left everyone mesmerized, her outfit — a plaid skirt and a black bralette — had everyone talking as well.

Lauv, on the other hand, packed the ground with love. His charismatic energy was palpable as he showered his fans fans with abundant love. He performed his songs I Like Me Better, So Lonely and more. He packed in the surprise by bringing Armaan Malik on stage. They sang I’m So Tired together.

We also watched One Republic bringing forward their best of songs, including Counting Stars and I Ain’t Worried which was made for Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick. The best surprise came in when they performed a cover of Beyoncé’s Halo. While we danced to the beats, we were pleasantly surprised that even Dojoon of The Rose was pumped about the performance.

The festival also had several other artists in the lineup. These include K-pop group The Rose, Korean-American singer Eric Nam, Indie artists The Karan Kanchan Experience, Parvaaz, Prabh Deep, Dualist Inquiry, Komorebi, Parekh & Singh, Skrat, Kamakshi Khanna, JBABE, Chrms, and Dewdrops, among many others.

With the musical weekend coming to an end, we have already begun the countdown for Lolla India next year.

BookMyShow, India’s leading entertainment destination, spearheaded Lollapalooza India as the promoter and co-producer. The featival was also backed by global producers, Perry Farrell and C3 Presents.
