KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty is making waves with her film choices. Following her successful Tamil debut in Cobra, she’s now set to make her mark in the Telugu film industry with the eagerly awaited Telusu Kada.
The upcoming Telugu film Telusu Kada has just been officially launched, with Siddu Jonnalagadda in the lead role. This romantic tale marks the directorial debut of stylist and costume designer Neeraja Kona. The film’s launch took place in Hyderabad on October 18, with the presence of the cast and crew.
Telusu Kada is produced by People Media Factory. With music composed by Thaman S, the cinematography of the film is handled by Yuvaraj. The project’s official announcement was made on Monday, with the muhurat ceremony planned in a few days, and filming set to commence in November.
Srinidhi, without revealing too much, hinted that she’s part of a love story, describing it as a feel-good film with a lot of surprises and emotional moments. She expressed, “It promises to be a beautiful journey with plenty of twists and turns, and as an artist, I have ample room to perform.” She also shared her thoughts on the first-time director, saying, “When Neeraja Kona, who penned the script four to five years ago, narrated the story to me, I could see her clear vision and knew she had a compelling tale to tell.” Srinidhi concluded her remarks on this note.
Srinidhi ventured into different languages through her role in KGF. She made her Tamil debut in Cobra and is now eagerly anticipating her Telugu debut. She explained, “Tamil offers a fast-paced work environment with a distinct passion, while Telugu is more aligned with how the Kannada industry operates. But starting a new film after a year and a half feels like starting from scratch, much like a beginner in kindergarten. I’ll have more to share once I complete one or two schedules.”
Srinidhi Shetty is best known for films including Cobra, KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2. Soon, the actress is going to star in the upcoming film including KGF Chapter 3 and an untitled project with Siddu Jonnalagadda.
