Bengaluru police collaborated with cartoonist Satish Acharya to come up with sign boards which have been displayed in and around the entire city. This comes in as the Cricket World Cup is taking place in the country. The sign boards show some creative illustrations featuring a cricketer and a policeman. A total of 10 such sign boards have been placed in 10 prominent locations and two bus stops.

The creative boards show the cricketer wearing a blue jersey and lifting the trophy. “Man of the match,” read the text right next to the cricketer. On the other side of the signboard is a cop which can be seen holding a heart. The text next to it says, “Policeman for the watch.”

The sketches have been made by the very renowned Indian cartoonist Satish Acharya. In 2015, he was included in the list of “24 Intellectuals” by Forbes India
Meanwhile, earlier on ‘X’, a user shared a picture that featured a warning sign regarding the safety of her flowers. The sign read, “Please do not pluck flowers…we are watching!!! If caught smiling while plucking flowers…you will be fined INR 500/-.” The image was accompanied by the caption, “The creepiest notice board ever!!”

It seems like Bengaluru is known for its bizarre warning signs. A similar notice was spotted in a Bengaluru park earlier. According to this sign, which was installed by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), park visitors were prohibited from jogging or running within the park premises. The sign had a rule which stated, “No Anti-clockwise walking.”
