Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber, V9 Roamer and MGX-21 Launched in India
The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and Bobber have been priced at Rs 13.6 lakhs and the MGX-21 has been priced at Rs 27.78 lakhs.

Moto Guzzi has announced the launch of two new motorcycles in India in the form of – the V9 and MGX -21. These bikes will be available through the Group’s Motoplex showrooms in Pune, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Chennai and will add to Moto Guzzi’s existing India portfolio of Audace, ElDorado, California Touring 1400, California Touring Custom and Griso SE.

The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and Bobber have been priced at Rs 13.6 lakhs and the MGX-21 has been priced at Rs 27.78 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Pune).

The V9, a mid-sized custom bike, will be available in two versions – Roamer and Bobber, each with its own distinct style and appeal.

The Roamer takes the baton handed off by the Nevada from Moto Guzzi and comes on the scene as an elegant and universal custom whereas the Bobber represents the darker and sporty soul of Moto Guzzi with its total black look. The V9 debuts the new 850cc twin cylinder euro 4 engine, which is complimented by ABS, switchable and adjustable traction control, immobiliser and a USB port.

On the other hand, the MGX-21 is an all-out cruiser. It is a line which begun in the early 1900s when Moto Guzzi started building motorcycles, strictly assembled by hand as unique collector’s items. The MGX – 21 marks the brand’s entry into the bagger segment of the market.

The MGX-21 is powered by a 90° transverse V-twin engine and comes with features like ABS, adjustable traction control which can also be disabled, Ride-by-Wire accelerator and cruise control. The internal trembling and vibrations felt even before you climb on board multiply when the 90° V-twin engine starts up. The MGX – 21 will be available on order only.

Stefano Pelle, Managing Director and CEO Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (PVPL) said, “These bikes are an epitome of Italian heritage and their launch in India coincides with the 95th anniversary of the brand. We aim to reach out to patrons in India across all segments with our diverse product range from Vespa, Aprilia and now Moto Guzzi at varied price points.”
