Janhvi Kapoor is the latest Bollywood celebrity who has joined the Lexus LM club.
The actress purchased the most costly premium multi-utility vehicle available in India, the Lexus LM350h MPV. Kapoor was spotted being driven in the brand-new vehicle, which has an exterior hue of Sonic Agate, according to Hindustan Times.
There are two versions of the LM MPV available from Lexus Motor, the premium automotive division of Toyota Motor– a four-seater and a seven-seater variant. The version that the actress purchased is still undisclosed.
Depending on the seating arrangement, the MPV costs between Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom) and Rs 2.5 crore (ex-showroom). Based on the GA-K modular platform, the LM 350h is derived from the highly renowned Toyota Vellfire, which is priced at Rs 1.2 crore.
It has a massive spindle grille up front, elegant LED headlights and vertical fog lamp housings. On the flanks, there’s a big glasshouse with sliding rear doors and a little curve at the B-pillar.
The MPV’s full-width LED taillight arrangement, which has Lexus letters above an insignia in place of an emblem, is the vehicle’s crucial feature. With an eCVT transmission and a combined power output of 250 bhp and 239 Nm, a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder self-charging hybrid engine powers the Lexus LM.
The engine is paired with a nickel-metal hydride battery that is said to provide excellent performance and fuel efficiency. The E-Four all-wheel drive technology from Lexus is standard on the MPV.
The four-seat Lexus LM model has a glass panel that can be raised or lowered and a barrier within the front and back passenger compartments. The available features include airline-style reclining chairs, a 48-inch TV, pillow-style headrests, a 23-speaker surround-sound audio system, and independent front and back audio outputs.
Some notable features include the folding tables, the heated ottomans and armrests, the numerous USB outlets, the wireless phone chargers, the vanity mirrors and reading lamps, the fridge, the rear gloveboxes, and the umbrella holder.
Other features include an electronic rearview mirror, active noise cancellation, and noise-reducing wheels and tyres.
Lexus Safety System+ 3 is an all-ADAS suite that provides safety features such as dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beam, blind spot monitoring, safe exit assistance, lane departure alert plus steering assistance, and vehicle identification – stationary or preceding vehicle.
