No-entry signs will be put up at various places for better guidance. The police have suggested alternative routes for those travelling to or through Noida Film City

Noida Traffic Police have issued a diversion plan for smooth movement of traffic ahead of the inauguration of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), scheduled to be held from September 25 to 29 at the Expo Mart in Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the program. There will be VVIP traffic movement from Delhi on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway during these five days.

To manage this, Noida Traffic Police released a diversion plan. Movement of heavy vehicles will be closed on the Noida Expressway. Heavy and light loaders will be banned from 7AM to 11PM.

However, vehicles carrying essential items like milk, vegetables, fruits, and medical supplies will be exempt. No-entry signs will be put up at various places for better guidance. The police have suggested alternative routes for those travelling to or through Noida Film City:

  • Vehicles heading towards Greater Noida from Chilla Red Light will be redirected from the Sector 14A flyover to Golchakkar Chowk in Sector 15.
  • Vehicles from DND heading to Greater Noida will be diverted to Rajnigandha Chowk in Sector 16.
  • Vehicles from Kalindi Border going to Greater Noida will be redirected from Mahamaya flyover to Sector 37.
  • Vehicles going to Greater Noida from Sector 37 will be directed from the Sector 44 roundabout to the double service road.
  • Vehicles coming from Agra to Noida will be directed towards Jewar before the Jewar toll and then continue via the Sabauta underpass and Khurja bypass through Jahangirpur.
  • Vehicles heading to Greater Noida from Pari Chowk will be redirected to Surajpur, where they can access Greater Noida West.
  • Vehicles coming from Pari Chowk via Surajpur will be diverted towards the 130-metre road at the LG roundabout.
