Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor, who is gearing up to make his action-packed appearance in Animal and Fighter, recently bought a swanky Mercedes-Benz Maybach.
Priced roughly around Rs 3 crore in the Indian market, he added a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach S 580 to his car collection. The German luxurious ride is reportedly powered by a 3982 cc engine which is available with an Automatic transmission.
The development of the exclusive purchase was confirmed by the Mumbai automobile store Landmark Cars on Instagram. The outlet shared photographs of the moment the Bollywood star accepted his new car keys.
“Landmark Cars Mumbai takes immense pride in delivering the keys to the legendary Bollywood icon, Mr Anil Kapoor, as he takes his ‘Jhakaas’ style to the next level with his new Emerald Green Mercedes-Maybach S 580,” announced the store. In the series of photos, Anil Kapoor makes an appearance in laid-back casuals posing alongside the store’s executive. With a glimpse of a flower garland tied around the Emerald Green car, the store added, “Here’s to ‘Nayak’ taking to the streets. We heartily ‘Welcome’ you to the Star family and wish your ride to be as legendary as your ‘Taal’ent on the silver screen.”

The Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC, introduced in India in early 2022, is built on the seventh-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class platform. Equipped with a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine, the S 580 4MATIC boasts impressive performance.
The exterior showcases a sleek and sharp design and it comes with sleek all-LED headlamps. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, this engine delivers a maximum power of 496 bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm in the Maybach S-Class. Back in 2021, on his wife Sunita Kapoor’s birthday, Anil Kapoor gifted her a new Mercedes-Benz GLS.
Besides Anil Kapoor, the top-tier luxury S-Class Sedan from Mercedes-Benz has been bought by several Bollywood celebrities including Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Kangana Ranaut among others.
