Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has arrived in Ahmedabad to watch the World Cup clash between India and Pakistan on Saturday. The high-voltage clash will be staged at the Narendra Modi stadium where a large number of fans will gather and cheer for the men in blue. One of them will be the Indian batting legend who is very well aware of the hype around the India v Pakistan on-field rivalry.
Sachin arrived in Ahmedabad on Saturday morning and spoke to the media while getting into a car. He said he has come to support the Indian cricket team and wishes the hosts beat Pakistan in the much-awaited face-off.
“I am here to support the team. Hopefully, we will get the result we all want,” Sachin told reporters.

The legendary former cricketer boarded the same flight that had the likes of Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik. All three of them were en route to Ahmedabad for the India vs Pakistan game.
Meanwhile, Karthik took to micro-blogging site (formerly Twitter) and shared a picture with Tendulkar and Anushka.
“Royalty at 35,000 ft. Wishing #TeamIndia all the very best for today,” Karthik wrote on X.

India and Pakistan ready for the epic battle
Team India has been in terrific form lately, which was eventually reflected in their first two games in the ongoing tournament. They floored Australia before humbling Afghanistan. And now, they look to extend their 7-0 unbeaten streak against Pakistan in Ahmedabad.
On the other hand, Pakistan came into the tournament deflated following their loss to India in the Asia Cup semi-finals. Though the men in green are unbeaten in this World Cup, their struggles were visible across all departments.
Already plagued with injury concerns, Pakistan will look to rewrite history and register their first-ever win against India in the ODI World Cup.
