Political commentator and newsreader Briahna Joy Gray was fired by US-based news broadcaster The Hill days after she was seen rolling her eyes during an interview with the sister of an Israeli abducted on October 7.
“It finally happened. The Hill has fired me. There should be no doubt that @RisingTheHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech — particularly when it’s critical of the state of Israel,” Briahna Joy Gray wrote on X Thursday, while reacting to her dismissal. “(It is) clearly part of a coordinated effort,” she said.
Briahna joy gray encapsulates everything wrong with the American left – a lack of knowledge coupled with over confidence. Add to that her utter arrogance and unmitigated hatred of Jews and this is what you get – a narcissistic asshole who thinks this is acceptable.

Gray was the former press secretary of Senator Benie Sanders, when the Vermont lawmaker launched a presidential campaign. She was interviewing Yarden Gonen, the sister of Romi Gonen, and was slammed for how she behaved on air earlier this week on Tuesday.
Gray, according to the New York Post, rolled her eyes and abruptly ended the interview when Yarden Gonen told her that she hopes she believes female victims who say they were sexually assaulted by Hamas terrorists.

“I really hope that you, specifically, will believe women when they say that they got hurt,” Gonen said.
Gray, apparently let out a sigh, appeared to roll her eyes. She said: “All right thanks for joining. Stick around”.
Romi Gonen, 23, called her mother while fleeing the Nova Music Festival on October 7 when Hamas militants ambushed her car. Her best friend, Gaya Halifa, 24, lay dying in front of her.
Yarden told the broadcaster that she last heard during the short-lived November cease-fire deal, when some released hostages recounted their ordeal while being held hostage in Gaza.
The released hostages reported seeing Romi on October 7, being dragged by her hair with a wounded arm. At one point, she was knocked unconscious after a militant struck her with his weapon.
“This is how you treat people? This is how you treat people? And this is only the things that happened to my little sister on October 7, and from then, we don’t know what else” Yarden said on the program.
When pressed about the situation in Israel by Gray, Gonen stated that she didn’t want to discuss politics, emphasising that she was there solely to share her sister’s story.
When asked if she felt that Netanyahu was prioritising his political ambitions over the lives of hostages, Gonen responded that it was not her “profession” to comment on such matters.
“I am here to talk about my sister; please, help me spread her story. Help me make people understand what she is going through as a woman in 2024,” she said.
Gray’s demeanour during the interview outraged viewers online as the clip circulated on social media.
Hen Mazzig, the founder of the Tel Aviv Insitute, said: “The Hill’s @briebriejoy rolling her eyes and sighing after Yarden Gonen, sister of a hostage in Gaza, asking her to believe rape victims. No low this person won’t sink to, truly disgusting”.
