Most students attempt to keep themselves up to date about general knowledge, which is important to clear the competitive examinations. Students can outperform their counterparts if they have a better grip on the general knowledge part. Some time back, a video was shared by the social media user Prominent Classes on Instagram. This clip shows the educator Punit Kumar asking a student some GK-based questions. The tutor asked the student about a district that shares boundaries with 4 states. The candidate replied, “Sonbhadra”. When the student was asked the state in which this district is situated, he replied,” Uttar Pradesh”. He then said the names of the 4 states that Sonbhadra borders, “Madhya Pradesh, Chhattishgarh Jharkhand and Bihar. ” The educator praised the student’s knowledge level and put down the mike.
Social media users also wrote the answer Sonbhadra in the comment section. Some of them replied that they hail from Sonbhadra. One of the users also talked about the Garhwa district. Garhwa district is one of the 24 districts of the Jharkhand state in India. It is located in the Southeastern part of the state and shares borders with Chhattisgarh to the South, Uttar Pradesh to the East and Palamu district to the North.
The social media user Prominent Classes recently shared another educational video in which he is asking the students about the vilay niti (doctrine of lapse). The student replied that if a kingdom’s ruler died and he had no son, then the East India Company annexed his kingdom. Due to this policy, many Indian states were annexed into the British Raj, including Hyderabad and Junagadh. Lord Dalhousie initiated this scheme in the late 1840s and it involved the British prohibiting a Hindu ruler without a natural heir from adopting a successor.
At the video’s end, the educator advised the student to read loudly at his some to get a clear voice.
Prominent Classes’ Instagram bio also shows his mobile number, ie- 9942633345. “Sabko Padhayenge ek shikshit samaj banayenge (We will teach everyone and form an educated society)” is the class’s motto as described in the bio. A cursory glance at his Instagram profile shows several videos in which he has talked about many educational topics.
