The celebration is surely incomplete without the sweet treat. But what about those who do not like cakes or are in the mood to do something new on a special occasion? Don’t look any further, this man has discovered a new ritual on his birthday. A video is doing rounds on social media that shows a man cutting a papaya on his birthday.

The clip shared on Instagram shows the proper birthday party setup, including banners, and balloons. However, instead of the typical cake, a giant papaya is placed in the centre of the table. Everyone sings “Happy Birthday” while the man happily cuts the fruit. The caption, along with the reel, read, “Organic Fruit cake. Happy birthday dear Ajay. Stay blessed abundantly.”

The video has earned over 4 million views. Many netizens shared their reactions in the comment section. While some agree that it is a healthy solution, others are quite opposed to the whole idea.

One user wrote, “This is far better than unhealthy cake, this is good,” while another person who was impressed by the idea stated, “Actually much healthier..I might copy.”
