Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been recovering from a knee surgery he underwent a few months ago. The billionaire businessman ended up tearing a knee ligament while he was practising mixed martial arts (MMA) in November last year. In a post on Instagram, Zuckerberg shared an update about his health. He recently participated in a long-distance running competition with his seven-year-old daughter Maxima. Upon completing the 5K run in nearly 21 minutes, the father-daughter duo clicked an adorable picture together.

Mark Zuckerberg dropped the picture on Instagram with a caption– “First post-surgery 5k and Max’s first ever 5k! Not going for any records yet but still happy with 21 minutes for 5 months into recovery. I’m really proud of Max for getting out there too.”
Besides being an entrepreneur, Zuckerberg is also known as a sports enthusiast. He is also a fitness freak, who loves to spend his leisure in the gym. As many people have been waiting for the Meta chief to fully recover from the knee issue, his latest post was able to create much buzz across the internet.
The comment section was flooded with numerous red heart emojis. Congratulating Mark Zuckerberg and Maxima on their achievement, one user commented, “You amaze me with your dedication. I’m struggling with my health and feel stuck.”
A few days ago, Mark Zuckerberg shared a video of himself hitting the gym. In the Instagram reel, Zuckerberg was seen going through some rigorous leg exercises to get back his strength. He wrote in the caption, “5 months post-surgery. My recovery is going well and starting to get strength back. Looking forward to easing back into training over the coming months. Appreciate all the love and support.”

Mark Zuckerberg shared the news of his ACL injury via an Instagram post. He was captured lying on a hospital bed while his left leg was bandaged and was kept in a supportive brace. The caption of the post read, “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit.”
