Sometimes the death of a loved one could put the family members in a tough position, where they have to consider only the better choice for everyone else. A woman shared her mother’s unthinkable wish with the internet, revealing what kind of an unwanted position she is in after her sister’s death. The unnamed woman, a social media user, revealed on Reddit how her mother plans to get her married to her deceased sister’s husband. She shared the horrifying story on social media, writing, “I am beyond appalled, disgusted and just shocked. I’ve got no one I can tell this to yet, and I need to get it off my chest.”
Revealing further, she shared that her 27-year-old sister had passed away around 4 months ago. Leaving behind her six children, her family did their best to give the kids a semblance of normalcy in their lives after such an unfortunate incident. The 23-year-old woman added, “We have been by their side every step of the way in dealing with her absence and their grief.”
Talking about her dead sister’s husband, 30-year-old Roger, she said that he started to make “inappropriate” comments about her. According to the woman, told her how she resembles her sister the most. She adds that she does her best to take care of the children regardless of the situation she might be in.
She recalled how she once returned home and found her sister’s clothes and even her wedding dress, scattered around the house. The 23-year-old continued, stating that she found Roger, her mother and her other sister sitting with the clothes. They felt that the kids needed a mother and her husband needed a wife and since she is an “identical copy” of her deceased sister, she has to take on these roles. According to her, the most “dreadful” thing she felt in all this is how her family already started to take away the deceased’s photos to prepare for the wedding.
Fortunately for her, Roger’s parents were not on board with the decision or their son’s action.
