Delhi Uber Driver Kicks Passengers Out Over Alleged Anti-India Remarks: 'You're a Pakistani'
The Uber driver in Delhi not only kicked out passengers over their anti-India remarks but also hurled hateful slurs at them and called them Pakistani.

“You’re a Pakistani. Halala ki aulad ho tum log [You guys are the offsprings of Halala],” was what an Uber driver was heard saying after he kicked out passengers in Delhi over their alleged anti-India remarks. The incident reportedly took place in the middle of the night on August 9. A video of the incident, which one of the passengers recorded, has gone viral on social media platforms, and received mixed comments from Internet users. While many praised the driver for his act, others simply were not happy with his behaviour towards passengers.

“A Pakistani and his female friend were abusing Indians & calling them Matlabparast. The Uber driver initially told them to stop being disrespectful. He threw them both out when they crossed their limits,” wrote X (formerly Twitter) user while sharing the video on X.

The video capturing a heated altercation between an Uber driver and his passengers in Delhi has gone viral. The conflict began when the driver overheard the passengers discussing how they perceived the people of Delhi as selfish. Taking offence at what he perceived as an insult to India, the driver became enraged. Although the woman tried to calm the situation by explaining that their comments were general observations about the city rather than personal attacks, her efforts were in vain. The driver, still furious, ultimately ejected the passengers from the cab in the middle of the night. He even hurled hateful slurs at them and called them Pakistani.

Since being shared on August 11, the video has accumulated over five lakh views and still counting. Many even took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.

“And surprisingly people crying and calling the commuters as victims. What else one can do if you abuse India in National capital,” wrote an individual.

Another added, “Whatever is the case or whosoever is the passenger, the driver should have remained silent and ignored the passenger’s discussions. He must not get violent, abusive and make sure that the passenger reaches the destination. He could have made a video and shared it later. However, it is his duty to serve passengers. We do not need to show spine everywhere.”

“Cab driver is loyal for the country, salute to him. He might lose his job, but he didn’t give a second thought. Hats off to him. Anyone from any religion disrespecting our country should not be thrown out of a cab but also from the country. Jai Hind,” expressed a third.
