Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Cast Bonds In Final Episodes With Harshad Chopda & Pranali Rathod

Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod have become beloved household names for their roles as Dr Abhimanyu Birla and Akshara Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Their on-screen chemistry has won the hearts of viewers. However, the two stars are now preparing to bid farewell to the show as it paves the way for another generation leap. While the current storyline has kept audiences hooked with its intriguing plot and unexpected turns, Saee Barve, who plays Surekha Goenka in the daily soap, shared behind-the-scenes moments from the set on her Instagram. She offered fans a glimpse into the last few episodes being filmed with Harshad, Pranali and other actors.

The video captures Harshad and Pranali dancing, posing and sharing chocolates with their fellow cast and crew members. The clip also features unseen and adorable moments as the cast comes together, singing and giving hugs, knowing they will soon bid farewell. Saee, whose exit is not certain also managed to take memorable pictures with cast members like Swati Chitnis, Niyati Joshi, Ami Trivedi, and the young actors. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “Only love. YRKKH. This is not the end.”

Apart from Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will also bid adieu to actors like Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi, Niyati Joshi and more. As the show prepares for a new generation leap, Samridhii Shukla and Shezada Dhami are set to take over as the fourth-generation lead actors, replacing the current stars.

Soon after Saee Barve’s video grabbed attention, a source close to the show disclosed to India Forums that several cast members, including Saee Barve, will not be departing from the show. They will continue their roles and remain a part of YRKKH.

The insider said, “Harshad and Pranali have not yet filmed their final episode. They will be shooting it in a day or two. As for Saee, that was just a ‘generic’ video. She remains an integral part of the show and will continue after the leap. In fact, almost the entire Goenka family will be part of the show post-leap.”

Meanwhile, the new actors has already begun shooting their episodes, in the scenic location of Mahabaleshwar. Samridhii will play Abhira and Shehzada will play the male lead. Reports also suggest that Preeti Amin will take on the role of the older Akshara in the Rajan Shahi’s show.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has seen several leaps over the years. It started with Karan Mehra and Hina Khan as the fan favourites Naitik and Akshara, and then the show moved on to Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi as Kartik and Naira. Now, once again Samridhii Shukla and Shezada Dhami are all set to replace Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod.
