Kumkum Bhagya has consistently impressed fans with its talented cast and captivating storyline. The show commenced in 2014, unfolding Abhi and Pragya’s beautiful love story. Now, Kumkum Bhagya is moving into its next generation, and new talents are being brought to carry the story forward. While there were prior discussions about actress Priyamvada Kant joining the cast, recent reports suggest that Simran Budharup from Pandya Store has been roped in for the show.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Pandya Store actress Simran Budharup has officially confirmed the news. She has secured a role as an antagonist in Kumkum Bhagya and is all set to portray one of Ranbir and Prachi’s daughters. “Yes, I am doing the show and looking forward to the same. Recently, I gave an interview wherein I expressed my wish to do a negative character and thus I think I manifested it (smiles),” she added.
The show’s creators recently unveiled the post-generation leap promo on Zee TV’s Instagram handle. The promo showcases the new lead pair Purvi (Played by Rachi Sharma) and Rajvansh (Played by Abrar Qazi), as they tie the knot. Purvi is thrilled about marrying Rajvansh, but he has hidden motives for being with her.
