Now, as the release date is nearing, the list of Bigg Boss 17 contestants who’ll be housemates has been confirmed. Hailing from Ambala, Mannara is the cousin of Bollywood divas Parineeti and Priyanka Chopra. Mannara’s mother, who is a jewellery designer by profession, is the sister of Parineeti and Priyanka’s fathers. While Mannara’s father is a lawyer, she also has a younger sister named Mitali.

When it comes to her professional career, Mannara initially worked as a fashion designer and assistant choreographer, before featuring in branded commercials of Ganna.com and Dabur Amla Hair Oil. The advertisements catapulted her to receive film offers from the South Indian film industry. It was in 2014 when she made her acting debut as a talkative college girl in the Telugu flick Prema Geema Jantha Nai. The same year she appeared as an obsessive lover in Anubhav Sinha’s Zid opposite Karanvir Sharma. She mainly works in Telugu films along with some appearances in Hindi and Tamil movies.

In her decade-long career, Mannara has become well known for playing pivotal characters in movies including Thikka, Rogue, Jakkana, and Kaaval, among others.
Her most recent movie outing remains to be the 2019 released Telugu romantic-comedy Sita. Helmed by Teja, the movie starred actress Kajal Aggarwal essaying the titular role alongside Sonu Sood and Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonu Sood.
