Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana, who fell in love in Bigg Boss 13, have parted ways. The news came as a shock to their fans. Himanshi took to her social handle and announced the separation. However, soon after she shared the post, a chat between Himanshi and Asim has also gone viral on social media platforms. Reacting to it rapper and singer also took to the X handle and shared a post.

He wrote, “Yes Indeed we both agreed to sacrifice our love for our respective religious beliefs. We both are 30+ and we have full right to  take these mature decisions and we made it. We’ve decided to part ways amicably, embracing our individual journeys. Respect for Himanshi and our diverse path and yes indeed i told her to write the real reason for our separation. Request you to all to respect our privacy.” Announcing her breakup, Himanshi wrote in her statement, “YES, We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy.”

Reportedly, the leaked chats are not fake as assumed by a section of social media users. In the chat, Asim asks Himanshi to mention the real reason behind their break up.

Rumours mills were abuzz in May, this year too. According to reports, both Asim and Himanshi had stopped following each other on social media back then. The couple, who painted the town red with their mushy pictures on Instagram, had also deleted their cute snaps from the platform, indicating trouble in paradise. Asim and Himanshi starred in a music video titled Khayal Rakhya Kar, which was much loved by the audience. But it seems like it will be their last video together.
