Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 is one of the most beloved game shows on Indian television. The latest episode of the show left viewers emotional as the host Amitabh Bachchan turned contestant Vaishali Chudasama’s dreams into reality. The episode started with Big B resuming the game with Vaishali, who had won Rs 20,000 in the previous episode.
Before starting the game, Amitabh Bachchan asked Vaishali about her plans for the prize money. Her answer struck a chord with the audience as she shared her plans to use the money for her and her brother’s education and to support her father’s start-up. When the host inquired further, she mentioned her wish for a new phone due to her current one’s storage capacity.
For the Rs 3,20,000 question, Vaishali had to answer a question about the author of books like In Custody and Fasting, Feasting, who had been shortlisted for the Booker Prize three times. After careful consideration, Vaishali chose Option D) Anita Desai and secured the prize money. Amitabh Bachchan commended Vaishali’s remarkable performance and acknowledged the strength that daughters bring to their families.
When Vaishali used her ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline during the ‘Super Sandook’ round, Amitabh Bachchan surprised her with a new phone. He also fulfilled her wish of owning a 5G phone with 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM, an invaluable tool for her studies. As a delightful bonus, Big B even gave Vaishali a quick lesson on how to pout for a perfect selfie. She then took her first picture with Amitabh Bachchan, creating a touching moment that brought tears to Vaishali’s mother’s eyes.
Furthermore, Big B captured everyone’s affection. He noticed Vaishali leaning forward in her seat on the hot seat and immediately requested the crew to provide her with a cushion. With his own hands, he adjusted the cushion to make her more comfortable. He emphasized, “Beti ko niche nahi dikhna chahiye humesha upar dikhna chahiye” (Daughters should always be seen rising, not falling).
As the game progressed, Vaishali confidently used her ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline to answer the question about the institution in Pune that admitted its first batch of women in 2022, correctly choosing Option C) NDA (National Defence Academy) and winning Rs 12,50,000.
The episode concluded with Vaishali facing a Rs 25,00,000 question about the legendary warrior from Karnataka, Onake Obavva, and her weapon of choice. Although the correct answer was Option A) Pestle, Vaishali chose to quit the show, leaving with a prize money of Rs 12,50,000.
