Actor Karan Patel’s Wife Lashes Out At Mumbai Cafe: ‘They Were Disrespectful’

Popular television actor Karan Patel’s wife, Ankita Bhargava, recently expressed her disappointment with the staff at Aromas Cafe & Bistro in Juhu, Mumbai, accusing them of rude behaviour. The incident occurred during Ankita’s visit to the cafe with her friends and their children, prompting her to share her unfavourable experience. According to a report by Times Now, Ankita narrated that after her group had finished eating, the children were walking around the cafe and engaging with the waiters.

Ankita said, “Out of the blue, the manager came and told us, ‘Aapke bacche yaha chal-phir rahe hai. Aap unko kisi ek jagah pe bitha dijiye. This is not allowed in the restaurant (Your children are moving around here. Please have them seated in one place. This is not allowed in the restaurant)’. I told them that our kids were not doing anything wrong.”

Expressing her discontent, Ankita mentioned that she felt disrespected by the manager’s demeanor. “The manager’s body language was quite demeaning and disrespectful. I was not expecting this from this cafe as I have always been coming to this place for many years now,” the actress added.

Despite being a regular patron of the cafe for many years, she was taken aback by the unexpected behaviour. Ankita conveyed her disappointment, stating that she informed the manager that she would not be returning to the cafe. She said, “I am very disappointed and I feel disrespected. I told the manager that I am not coming here again. I came here with Karan last week. Agar (aaj) Karan yaha hote toh definitely vaat lag jaati.”

In response to the allegations, a representative from the cafe explained to Times Now that the restriction on children’s movement was imposed for safety reasons. The representative clarified that the kids were running around, and allowing such behaviour could pose a risk, as they might accidentally collide with waitstaff, potentially causing hot drinks or food to spill on them.

Talking about married life, Ankita Bhargava and Karan Patel, well-known figures in the television industry, exchanged vows on May 3, 2015. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mehr, on December 20, 2019.

Ankita, the daughter of actors Abhay Bhargava and Kiran Bhargava, has been a part of various TV shows, including Sanjivani, Kesar, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dekha Ek Khwaab, Dill Mill Gayye, Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, among others.
