Abhishek Kumar Struggles With Claustrophobia As He Performs Underwater Stunt In Khatron Ke Khiladi 14

Abhishek Kumar is undoubtedly one of the most popular contestants on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He has been showing off his daring side and completing tasks with much zeal so far. Time and again, the actor has opened up about how the show has helped him face his fears. But it seems the upcoming stunt has taken a toll on the actor. The actor has a history of struggling with claustrophobia and the recent promo for the show depicted how it became an obstacle for him during a water task.

The latest promo shared on Colors TV’s official Instagram handle featured Abhishek Kumar performing a scary water stunt involving snakes. In the video, Abhishek struggles with the challenge, facing his fear of water amid his challenges with claustrophobia as well as dealing with the reptiles. His attempt to finish the stunt fails, resulting in him shouting for help. He is seen saying, “Mere ko claustrophobia hai aur paani ka darr bhi hai. Swimming nahi aati hai upar se ulta latkaya hai (I have claustrophobia and a fear of water. I don’t know how to swim, and on top of that, I’m being hung upside down).”

Abhishek panicked during the stunt, leaving other contenders startled. The clip ended with showing a snake on his hand, which led to him fainting. The host Rohit Shetty halted the task later. The caption along with the promo teases, “Abhishek ka ho raha hai saapon se saamne, ab kaise bachega woh iss water stunt se?”

Few weeks back, Abhishek Kumar shared a glimpse of how he had faced his claustrophobia and performed a task inside a gas chamber. Abhishek Kumar released a clip from an episode in which he completes the gas chamber job successfully. The actor was locked inside a room filled with tear gas and had to do the stunt as soon as possible in order to escape. The video shows him rushing to accomplish the assignment before exiting the room. He also became sick once he was out.

Meanwhile, the stunt-based reality program has already seen a few notable eliminations, including Aditi Sharma and Aashish Mehrotra. Even Krishna Shroff and Shilpa Shinde were evicted, but they returned as wildcard contestants. The show started on July 27 and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm.
