Video looping app Vine has added a new music feature that allows users to add a soundtrack to their six-second clip.
Called Snap to Beat, the program includes a catalogue of songs that users can choose from to create a seamless loop for their video.
Once you've chosen a song by tapping the music note from the Details screen, Snap to Beat identifies how much of the song to use to make a seamless loop and then trims your video to fit that clip.
The automated program can trim the video to fit the clip, but can also be turned off so that users can edit the audio tracks separately.
If you want to edit audio separately, turn off Snap to Beat. This will give you more control over how much sound to include in your Vine and the specific part it should play over – such as adding a sound effect to the end of your Vine for a dramatic effect.
In response to popular demand, users can now also see the name of the song and artist on Vine vidoes.
The feature is available for iOS and Android.
