Android Marshmallow or Motichoor Ke Laddoo? If Android versions were named after Indian sweets

New Delhi: YouTube is introducing a new feature in the YouTube app this November that will allow users to watch video content for a short period of time, even when an Internet connection is unavailable.

With the Add to Device feature users, even when they are not connected to the Internet, will be able to watch the videos that they have added to their device for a limited period of up to 48 hours. But if the device is offline for a period greater than 48 hours the videos cannot be viewed offline unless the device is reconnected to the Internet.

The Add to Device option will be turned on by default for all YouTube content but content owners will have the option to disable the functionality for their videos.

The videos and playlists available for offline viewing can be accessed through the 'on device' section in the YouTube app.

What's your reaction?
