To the surprise of its Telugu fanbase, the leading OTT giant announced the release of 12 Telugu movies this year through its social media handles. Salaar
Prabhas-starrer blockbuster film Salaar is expected to release on Netflix soon. As per media reports, the movie is anticipated to be released on this OTT platform on the occasion of Republic Day 2024. It was written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran played the lead role in the movie. The makers will soon release the next part of the movie. It was released on December 22, 2023.

Pushpa 2
One of the most anticipated movies in the Indian film industry is Pushpa 2. It is the sequel to the hit movie Pushpa, which was released in 2021. It is written and directed by Sukumar. Allu Arjun played the lead role in the movie. Earlier, the makers released a teaser of the movie which immediately went viral. Pushpa 2: The Rule will stream on the platform after the theatrical run in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. As per media reports, the Sukumar directorial was bagged by Netflix at a record price.

Devara
Jr NTR-starrer Devara will be released on Netflix after its theatrical run, which is scheduled to begin from April 5. It is written and directed by Koratala Siva. The makers recently released a glimpse of the movie and announced the release date of the movie. The OTT release is expected to take place after one month of its release.

Apart from these, Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie tentatively titled VD12 will also be released on Netflix. The untitled film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It stars Sreeleela as the female lead. The movie is currently under the production stage. The list also contains the upcoming movies like NBK109, Buddy, Gangs Of Godavari, Tillu Square and other Telugu movies.
