Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Launches Kaatera Trailer; Darshan Says Film Based On Real Incident
Given the popularity of the actor in the state, the makers decided to release the trailer of the film in Hubballi.

Amid much anticipation, the makers of Kaatera dropped the film’s trailer on December 16. Directed by Tharun Sudhir, the Kannada film is headlined by Darshan. The film, bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh, will hit the screens on December 29. The trailer release event of the film was organized in Hubballi, Karnataka. The Chief Minister of the state, Siddaramaiah, unveiled the trailer and the pictures from the event are being shared on social media.

Given the popularity of the actor in the state, the makers decided to release the trailer of the film in Hubballi. The whole team of the film worked hard for the trailer release event which eventually came to fruition. The glimpses from the event available on the Internet show Malashree and her daughter Aradhana Ram sharing the stage and grooving to a song together. A lot of fans came to attend the event.

Darshan, for the trailer release event, picked a blue t-shirt and white pants. He looked extremely joyous as interacted with his fans during the event. Interestingly, Abhishek Ambarish, Vinod Alva, and Garadi fame actor Yashas Surya also arrived at the event and appeared on the stage.

Addressing the event, Darshan said, “Kaatera is a different kind of movie. What is shown in the trailer is what the movie is all about for 2 hours and 15 minutes.”

He further noted, “The film is based on a real incident during the period of Indira Gandhi as the prime minister. It talks about several bitter incidents following the law ‘tiller is the owner’ enacted during Indira Gandhi’s period.”

Notably, the much-awaited film, Kaatera, will also introduce Aradhana Ram, daughter of Malashree and producer Ramu, as the female lead. Besides, the film will also feature Jagapathi Babu, Avinash, and Shruthi in prominent roles. The music of the film is composed by V Harikrishna whereas Sudhakar S Raj handled the cinematography. The dialogue of the film has been written by Maasthi.
