New Delhi: DMK Chief M Karunanidhi, on Wednesday extended support for former Telecommunication Minister A Raja, saying that the party will continue to support Raja.
Karunanidhi said, "Raja has done no wrong. We will continue to support him." He added, "If Raja is found guilty, we will act against him."
He also said, "We are ready for JPC on spectrum allocation issue if the probe also brings within its ambit scams during NDA rule."
Karnunanidhi also backed the Supreme Court's observation that the probe into 2G spectrum allocation cover the period from 2001, when BJP was the ruling party.
The CBI conducted raids at the personal and official premises of A Raja and his key aides, on Wednesday, as part of investigations in the 2G scam.
