PMK to announce its stand on alliance soon

Vellore: Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder S Ramadoss on Tuesday said the party would announce its stand on alliance within a week after a meeting of its General Council.

Ramadoss, who was in Vellore to address a public meeting, organised by the Sri Lankan Tamils Protection Committee, said the party would convene its General Council in week's time and take a decision.

He dismissed as speculative reports in a section of the press that the party had convened its General Council on Tuesday, but cancelled it at the last minute.
