110. Paraswada is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Balaghat Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Paraswada falls in Balaghat district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,06,097 voters in the seat, which includes 1,02,806 male voters, and 1,03,289 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Paraswada recorded a voter turnout of 82.19%. In 2013 the turnout was 82.4%, and in 2008 it was 81.5%.
In 2013, Madhu Bhagat of INC won the seat by a margin of 2,849 votes (1.86%). Madhu Bhagat secured 32.13% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 8,066 votes (6.54%), registering 29.44% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Paraswada Assembly segment of the Balaghat Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
