The candidates are now unwinding and leaving the rest to God.

New Delhi: Its judgement day on Monday for the candidates who are contesting for the assembly seats in the five states of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Mizoram and Jammu and Kashmir.

After almost a month of hectic electioneering, the candidates are now unwinding and leaving the rest to God.

There is nothing left to do but wait. Rajasthan Education Minister Kali Charan Saraf lets his hair down, as he waits for the election results to be announced on Monday and what better way to ward off the tension than a head massage?

Kali Charan Saraf, Rajasthan Education Minister, Jaipur says, "Twenty five days of hectic schedule of getting up five in the morning and going to bed one at night definitely takes a toll on our health."

However, Congress candidate from Sanganer, Jaipur Suresh Mishra is still trying to pull all stops to ensure he wins. After wooing the voters, he's hoping to get the Gods on his side.

Mishra says, “We're eagerly waiting for the results. I want to seek divine intervention with my family and I hope the Gods will reward us with good karma.”

And divine intervention is what New Delhi hopeful Vijay Jolly will also need to beat two time CM Sheila Dikshit. He's just back from a pilgrimage to Shirdi.

Meanwhile, the tension is not so evident in the face of Babu Lal Gaur, grand old man of Madhya Pradesh politics.

Playing with his dog Tiger is a stressbuster and his pet tortoise an inspiration.

With the counting of the results not far away, we will soon find out if divine intervention is truly deserved.
