Thiruvananthapuram: Congress-led UDF's Chief Ministerial probable Oommen Chandy on Saturday filed nomination for the April 13 Kerala Assembly polls.
The 68-year old former Chief Minister is seeking re-election from his home turf Puthupally Assembly constituency in Kottayam district for the eighth time in a row.
The Congress leader filed papers before Block Development Officer at Pallickelthodu in Pampadi. CPM's Women's Association leader Suja Susan George is the LDF candidate against Chandy.
Communist Marxist Party (CMP) leader M V Raghavan filed papers from Nemmara segment in Palakkad district.
Sitting MLA V Chenthamarakshan (CPM) is the LDF candidate against Raghavan.
