New Delhi: The Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar who was sacked over an alleged sex CD featuring him has said that the person in the video is not him and there is no resemblance.

A day after he was removed by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Sandeep Kumar has launched an attack on unknown people claiming that he is being targeted because he is a Dalit.

Speaking to media, he said, "I am being targeted, the matter should be investigated. I have seen the video and the person in the video is not me, there is no resemblance. The CD must be authenticated. It is an attack on the Dalits and I am a Dalit. This is a matter of probe. It is not me in the CD. I am very hurt".

The AAP is yet to react to his comments.

Arvind Kejriwal had sacked Minister of Child Welfare and Social Justice Sandeep Kumar after a CD containing objectionable content surfaced, the CM tweeted on Wednesday night.

Kejriwal who claimed that he received the CD said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stands for proprietary in public life and that can't be compromised.

Reacting to the news, BJP leader RP Singh said that AAP is a bunch of jokers and apart from playing drama they don't know a thing.

Singh said that Kejriwal is losing his grip over the party and needs to ask himself what exactly does he and his party stand for.

Another BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that the party which claimed to have brought in a new form of politics seems to be degenerating with each passing day.

"A women party worker who was harassed by a fellow colleague in the party was told to sort out matter and the CM himself was blamed by the woman and her family members. This is the kind of attitude the party has on such serious issues. What has happened in shameful," Rao added.

Congress leader Kiran Walia too slammed Kejriwal and said it shocking to know that a minister handling the women and child development portfolio was caught in a scandal.

Former AAP leader Yogendra Yadav too questioned the timing of the sacking and said that it is unlikely that the action was taken based on morality.

Defending the decision, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the part received an objectionable CD and the decision to sack Sandeep Kumar was taken within 30 minutes.

"AAP is a party of principles - on the issues of crime and character and we had removed another minister on charged of receiving bribe. AAP works on zero tolerance to crime and corruption whoever does this will not be spared by Arvind Kejrwal," Sisodia added.

Delhi Commission of Women and Child Development too tweeted about the incident and praised the AAP government for taking swift action against Kumar.

Few days back Kejriwal had sacked AAP Punjab chief Sucha Singh Chhotepur over allegations of corruption based on a CD that showed Chhotepur accepting bribe.
