New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann continues to claim innocence and said he has done no crime in releasing video of Parliament security.
In a five-page letter submitted to the probe panel of Lok Sabha, Mann has said he did not commit any mistake by recording the video. Mann has maintained that his intentions were not to compromise Parliament's security.
Mann tendered an unconditional appology to Lok Sabha committee. "I have not done any crime but if you think I'm wrong I tender an unconditional apology," Mann said.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had constituted a nine-member committee to probe the video. The Kirit Somaiya Committe expects Mann to apear before it and give his explanation.
In the nearly 12-minute video, apparently shot on July 21, Mann gives a running commentary as his vehicle crosses security barricades and enters Parliament. "I'll today show you something you would not have seen earlier," he said.
Mann then entered a room where questions to be taken up inside Parliament are being sorted and describes the process.
Mann had earlier said that the panel should also summon Prime Minister Narendra Modi for "inviting ISI" to Pathankot airbase.
In a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Mann had said the Prime Minister was "100 times more guilty" than him for "inviting ISI" to probe the January 2 terror attack on the airbase that had left seven security personnel dead.
